Cinque Terre Italy
The Cinque Terre “Five Lands” is a rugged portion of coast line on the northwest of Italy in the Liguria region. It comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park. All the villages are connected by walking paths, trains and boats. A few years ago my wife and I spent five days touring this beautiful area and highly recommend it.
